Eisenmann Supplies, Inc.
Eisenmann Supplies Inc. was established in 1958 by Don and Sharon Eisenmann, who began selling animal health products and vaccines from their home, which was located seven miles southeast of Madison, Nebraska. The Eisenmann’s expanded their product line to include animal feed, their own private-label vitamins and premix for livestock, and Gulf bagged fertilizer. Don’s decision to become a Schwartz dealer led to expansion into farm machinery, including feed wagons and wide front ends for tractors.
In 1969, Don purchased a farmstead one mile east of Madison and built a warehouse for feed storage that also included a shop area for repairs. In 1972, Eisenmann Supplies Inc. became a Hesston dealer offering a full line of hay equipment. In 1975, we became an Allis Chalmers dealer, adding tractors and combines to their lineup. At the time, we were also an Owatonna dealer, featuring grinders, hay equipment and skid loaders. As machinery sales expanded and shop work increased, the decision was made to discontinue chemical and fertilizer sales.
In 1980, Eisenmann Supplies Inc. began salvaging Allis Chalmers tractors for sales of used parts. In April 1984, the building and land at the junction of Highway 81 and Highway 32 near Madison was purchased. The original warehouse on the site was expanded and three additional warehouses were built for parts storage. In 1987, we stopped selling new AGCO farm equipment and expanded our salvage inventory by adding farm implements. We also added a full line of auto parts and supplies, including A&I aftermarket parts. Rapid growth in parts sales led Eisenmann Supplies Inc. to discontinue sales of Hesston hay equipment in the early 1990s.
Today, Eisenmann Supplies Inc. remains a family-owned and operated business featuring an extensive salvage inventory that includes parts for all makes and models of tractors, combines, windrowers, engines, skid loaders, and round and square balers. If we don’t have parts in-stock, our national parts locator is available at no charge to our customers. Our extensive line of aftermarket parts provides the right parts at the right price. We are also a full-line jobber for Auto Value auto parts. We ship packages daily via Spee-Dee, UPS and the U.S. Postal Service to customers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Bolivia and Columbia. Shop work includes welding, auto & equipment repair, hydraulic rebuilding, gearbox rebuilding, parts manufacturing and tire repair.
